Managed, trained and developed a team of 34 Sales, Customer Services and Dispatch specialists in scheduled air operations.
Developed corporate marketing plan, fleet utilization plan, new product roll-out plan, advertising and promotions schedule with quarterly revenue/operating budget.
Structured and implemented exclusive air charter contracts with UPS and FedEx.
Established flight operation cost controls to reduce unit costs and improve productivity.
Increased annual sales by 17% ($11 Million) and net contribution by 12% in 1997.
Planned and executed offshore ACMI (DC-9 and DA-20) contracts with major cargo integrator.
Established an ASYS contract with United States Postal Service.

DHL Airways, Inc. 1989 to 1996
Director, Charter and Contract Services
Reported to the Vice President, Airline Operations. Responsible for airline revenue forecasting budgeting, net contribution, P&L for all B-727 and DC-8 charter operations, air cargo, road feeder, cancelled checks, and U.S. Mail.
Hired, trained and developed Sales and Operational Team.
Conceived, planned, controlled and developed nine new revenue streams to include U.S. Mail Contracts (ASYS, ASEG, CNET, Operation Just Cause), Christmas Hub at CVG, IATA Interline Agreements, Road Feeder Service, Second Segment Freight, Cancelled Check Hub with FRB, Mexico Automotive Filler Traffic, Daytime Charter, New Hawaiian Express, US Air Force CRAF Program and Cargo Ramp Operations.
Administration of subcontract feeder aircraft purchasing ($40 Million annual).
Point of contact, and primary author, of all legal supporting documents used in Congressional Testimony, thus allowing DHL to successfully protest the Post Office's US Mail Contracting Regulations. During the next six years, USPS operations generated revenue in excess of $28 Million dollars.
Instrumental in establishing and building DHL's charter/airline revenue to 22 Million annually, while representing a bottom line contribution equal to 27% of the company's total net profit.

Midway Airlines 1986 to 1988
Director, Cargo Marketing
Responsible for planning, staffing and department P&L reporting to the Vice President, Marketing.
Directed the advertising and promotion campaigns of five new profit centers including PackageFirst, domestic freight, international interline road feeder service, U.S. Mail and excess baggage.
Implemented cargo rates and rules policy for the airline, instituted an international interline road feeder service for I.A.T.A. carriers and freight forwarders.
Directed the sales efforts of six staff sales representatives, a direct mail program, telemarketing and cargo facility design.

Financial AirXpress 1981-83 to 1985- 86
Operations Manager / International & Domestic Sales Manger
Served as first Operations Manager for largest U.S. carrier of canceled checks with national responsibility for 27 scheduled aircraft and 50 employees.


Air Compak International 1983 to 1985
Station Manager
Managed nine employees, new station start-up, product marketing and sales development with P&L responsibility for all freight forwarding station functions including customer service, import/export, air/ocean/rail traffic logistics, communications, inventory control and sourcing, customs clearance and cartage.
Implemented NVOCC (Non Vessel Ocean Common Carrier) tariff and successful LCL rates that allowed higher profits and increased consolidation of freight.
