St Louis The automotive research and technical consultants was founded by Expert 2654 and his partner to provide automotive engineering consulting services to system engineering companies such as General Electric, Ultrasystems and Avco. These client companies either had or were competing for research contracts with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, that was gathering data concerning vehicle inspection systems and other highway safety issues.
ARTeC did a two year client engagement with Indiana University at Bloomington as the Automotive Engineering Consulant. This project involved the investigation of three accidents per week for the two years. ARTeC was responsible for vehicle examinations, reconstruction of each accident, technical editing of the individual accident reports, and contributing to the overall final report.
