ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT:
EW #2914 has over thirty year's experience in technology, training and testing. He founded GESI, providing design services, inspection, testing and project management for the offshore oil, gas & pipeline industry. At WJMG he specializes in hands-on certification of manual, semi-automatic and robotic processes, design, metallurgy of non-ferrous and ferrous materials, CFRs, codes & standards, OSHA compliance, safety issues, destructive and nondestructive testing. He is a well-recognized expert regarding both the practice and the metallurgical science of bolting, cutting & welding for structural steel, pressure vessels, tanks, and automated processes used in shop fabrication and field erection. He is Director of the WJMG Institute to provide training for supervisors, union crafts, welders and inspectors.

INSPECTION AND TESTING:
He often serves as a third-party inspector and consultant for metallurgical and safety investigations of major projects. He has been engaged in welding, metallurgy, failure analysis, destructive and non-destructive testing during his entire career. He is also active nationwide, with OSHA surveys and evaluations, OSHA compliance audits, & ISO/quality program reviews. He provides structural /construction inspections and field material evaluations. He implements ASME and AISC quality certification programs and welding process improvements. He directs the Welding & Joining Inspection and Testing Laboratory, an independent testing agency (ITA), and is a member of ASNT and ASM International.

EXPERT WITNESS:
Member #597 of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers an affiliate of the National Society of Professional Engineers. He specializes in the practical aspects of accident investigations/analysis/reconstruction, metallurgy, welding and nondestructive testing. He has provided numerous depositions and testimony about his findings. He is an experienced "hands-on" expert witness.
