EW #2937  is the owner and founder of Nightclub Security Consultants . Based out of San Diego, he is a current veteran Police Officer within San Diego County.

He started this company for two reasons. First, the arrest of a nightclub bouncer and the subsequent investigation showed a total lack of available training for the nightclub and bar security industry. The other reason came after two nightclub owners approached him and inquired about any possible training for nightclub or bar security personnel. Robert found no available quality training and started his own training and consulting company.

He has been teaching and training for over fourteen years. He started training in a variety of subjects while in the military and continued teaching when he became a Police Officer in the San Diego County area.

He has over 6 years of work experience within the nightclub and bar community and has been a Police Officer over twelve years. Because of his law enforcement experiences, Robert has become an expert in several topics including narcotics recognition, usage & symptomology, screening and discovery of fake and false forms of identification and in problem solving and community policing.

He has a unique perspective and new idea's related to the security problems facing nightclub and bar owners and their employees. He teaches with a dynamic style and addresses important topics in a manner that will make employee's think and learn. His training has been requested at small "Mom & Pop" beer bars, world class nightclubs such as at the Clevelander in Miami's popular South Beach and at large corporate hotels such as the Marriot. Within California, Robert has taught specific training sessions for the California Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control and at over 100 nightclubs and bars.

Nightclub Security Consultants is also available for expert witness testimony and case evaluations from around the country. Although a peace officer within California, he has a great working knowledge in beverage control rules and regulations from many other states. He has been involved in over 22 cases involving use of force by security staff, proper training applications or the lack of staff training, service of alcohol to obviously intoxicated patrons and the service of alcohol to minors with and without identification.
