EW #8395  has been working in the field of induction heating for 50 years and has been consulting for over 35 years. He has developed induction heating power supplies and processing equipment for numerous industries. He lectures and teaches internationally and has numerous papers and articles in all areas of induction heating.

Co-Founder – Ameritherm Inc., first manufacturer of solid state Radio Frequency induction heating equipment in the United States.
President – Ferrotherm Inc., Sales agency for process heating equipment
President and founder – Cycle-Dyne Inc. manufacturers of tube type Radio Frequency induction heating equipment.
Asst. Chief Sales Engineer – Induction Heating Corp., manufacturers of 60 Hz – 2 mHz induction heating equipment.

Career Accomplishments:
Associations/Societies:
Stan is a member of the Society for Materials (ASM), and is a founding member of the Heat Treating Institute.He is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).

Professional Appointments:
He is a lecturer for both ASM and SME, has served on the “Advisory Board on Electrical Technology” of the New York City Community College of Applied Arts and Sciences and has also served on the Editorial Board of “Advanced Materials and Processes” magazine.


Publications:
Stan is the co-author of “Elements of Induction Heating” published by the American Society for Materials under contract to Battelle Laboratories and funded by the Electric Power Institute. He is the author of “Power Supplies and Auxiliary Equipment”, ”Coil Design” and “Special Applications” for the Materials Engineering Institute of the EPRI Center for Materials Fabrication. Stan has published numerous articles on induction heating and induction heating processes.

International Experience:
Stan has presented papers and lectured internationally on induction heating. He has run training seminars in a number of countries including China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore and most of the EU countries.

Additional Experience:
Expert Witness:
Stan has been called upon a number of times to prepare reports and consult on product liability and product quality cases involving induction heating. These have included forensic fire determinations and qualifying product results. He has worked for both plaintiffs and defendants. He reviewed documents, read depositions and prepared questions for these cases.

Training/Seminars:
Stan is available to provide training/seminars in the area of induction theory, application and equipment operations. His expertise covers a wide range of background in the uses of induction heating ranging from medical products to aircraft engine components and optical fibers.

Vendor Knowledge:
He has access to research and manufacturing materials as well as personal contacts to aid in writing specifications and selecting vendors. Stan has knowledge and access to vendors active in all phases of the field.
