Short Biography:
EW #1814 Ph.D., is considered by many to be the nation's premiere expert on courtroom testimony. He is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Alabama, where he coordinates the Psychology-Law Ph.D. concentration.
He is the author of ten books and 170 articles and chapters, mostly in psychology applied to legal issues. His book, "Testifying in Court" has been a best seller for years. His newest book, "The Expert Expert Witness" has enjoyed an outstanding reception. He is also coauthor of the upcoming book, "The Civil Practice of Forensic Psychology."
Among other honors, he was the 1996 recipient of the Distinguished Contribution Award for Outstanding Achievement in Forensic Psychology by the American Academy of Forensic Psychology. Hemaintains an independent practice in forensic psychology. He is a frequent leader of workshops on courtroom testimony, forensic evaluation and psychotherapy with reluctant and difficult clients.
