My experience is 60 years of service for the 3M Co. (40 years employed and 20 years as a retired consultant). I am a Registered Professional Engineer (#2971) in the state of Minnesota and a Certified Safety Professional (#743) with BCSPOA (Board of Certified Safety Professionals of America). I have worked with, manufactured and stored a broad band of both organic & inorganic chemicals. I know hazardous materials thoroughly and can help you with problems relative to flammability, toxicity and reactivity of any chemical.

I have prepared and audited 1000's of MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) to help companies to conform with OSHA's Right-To-Know regulations and have trained about 4000 chemical workers and waste management employers in understanding their MSDS's thoroughly. I have performed 100's of safety audits in chemical plant operations for accident & fire causations involving both unsafe practices and unsafe conditions.

I prefer to use the term "product responsiblity" rather than product liability in examining claims and defenses of this type, whether designing product labeling, looking at slip and fall cases (over 70) and performing JHA (Job Hazard Analysis) with human factor considerations in mind. I can give you a comprehensive examination of these types of (problems) situations.

As a trainer for the American Lung Association, I use a unique method of carbon monoxide chemical training to convince people (and kids) to stop smoking.

Personal injury claims in my experience have occured from fire & explosion exposure burns; chemical toxicity exposure and burns; slip & fall cases, machine guarding, and ladder design defects.
