Management of company providing complete professional services to the energy and telecommunication industries. Project Manager for major projects. Instructor in "Mainline Design and Construction" for PETEX's School of Pipeline Technology for over 20 years. Expert witness.

1983 to 1987 Techstaff, Inc. Vice President - Engineering
Directed the project management and construction management activities of the Company including responsibility for organization and staffing. Project Manager for several pipeline projects.

1976 to 1983 Gulf Interstate Engineering Company Vice President - Projects
Directed the project management and construction management activities of the Company including responsibility for organization and staffing. Project Manager for design and construction of 360 miles of 24" pipeline.

Vice President - Venezuelan Operation
Overall responsibility for all engineering and technical activities of Ingenieria. Petroleo. Gas. S.A. (IPG) based in Caracas, Venezuela. Directed the development of the staff and the technical capabilities of IPG, particularly in the areas of pipeline and production facilities design and project management.

Manager of Engineering
Responsible for the organization and direction of GIEC's Engineering and Drafting Departments which provided conceptual design, specification, design reviews and drafting services for all projects. Manager of Projects
Project Manager for carbon dioxide pipeline system in West Texas. Work involved route selection, right-of-way acquisition, permitting, hydraulic studies, materials and equipment specification, cost estimating, preparation of alignment sheets and detailed construction drawings.

Project Manager for preliminary engineering and economic analysis of coal slurry pipeline systems. Systems studies ranged from 6,000,000 to 25,000,000 tons per year capacity and included over 2,000 miles of 36" to 48" pipeline. Work required design of facilities to transport coal from mine to slurry preparation plant, pipeline and supply system, preparation plant, pipeline and pump stations, dewatering plant, estimating capital and operating costs and calculating resultant transportation cost.

Manager of pipeline engineering for Northwest Alaskan Pipeline. Developed engineering organization to provide design requirements. Supervised engineering efforts including geotechnical, pipe stress, hydrology and surveys. Coordinated with other departments including environmental, cost control, contracts, communications and construction. Coordinated effort with participating partners for pipe burst test and frost heave test sites. Developed technical data for permit applications. Approved predesign field investigation schedules.

Supervising Engineer
Project Manager for engineering projects including Design and Construction Management for a 100+ miles Gas Gathering System for Delhi Gas Pipeline Corporation including metering, separation and dehydration facilities; preliminary engineering and design of 150 miles of 8-inch pipeline including two 4000 horsepower compressor stations for the W.R. Grace Company; Right-of-Way Acquisition and Construction Management for 85 miles of 12-inch oxygen and nitrogen pipeline in Louisiana for Big Three Industries, Inc.; and other similar projects.

General Project Engineering relating to the filing of an FPC application for the Alcan 42" Pipeline Project. Work included responding to Federal Power Commission questions relating to compressor station and pipeline design, equipment costs, construction techniques and costs, operating and maintenance procedures and environmental impact.

Senior Project Engineer
Responsible for construction management for installation of gas dehydration facilities, gas compressors and pipelines, including estimating, scheduling, progress reporting, supervision of construction and start-up coordination with operations personnel.

Project Engineer
Designed and installed all types of oil and gas production facilities including oil separation and treating; salt water disposal; gas separation, dehydration and treating; field and plant compressors; water injection involving source water delivery systems, analysis of water quality, filters, pumps and drivers; and oil, water and gas pipelines.

Designed and implemented oil and gas well workover procedures involving new well completions, hydraulic fracturing and acidizing stimulation techniques and recompletions.

1967 to 1976 Exxon Company, U.S.A. Resident Construction Engineer
Assigned to joint Arco/Exxon Prudhoe Bay Facilities Project Management Team. Supervised staff of construction engineering and welding inspectors. Responsible for scheduling, quality control and fabrication cost of 31 large process modules ranging in size from 1000 to 1500 tons each.

Supervising Engineer
Supervised Production Engineering Group consisting of engineers, technicians and drafters. Directly responsible for Group's activities which included design and installation of oil and gas production facilities, waterflood facilities, material and equipment selection, purchasing coordination, construction, start-up, monitoring facilities operation and facility optimization.

Supervised construction and start-up of gas plant facilities including a 3000 HP centrifugal gas compressor and gas turbine unit, a sour gas treating facility, a 2000 HP integral gas compressor and a 660 HP skid-mounted gas compressor.
