EW #7894 has been doing litigation in support of the plaintiff and defense since 1984. He is board certified by both the American Board of Toxicology and the Academy of Toxicologcal Sciences and is a recognized expert in toxicology in Europe. Prior to 1984, he graduated Rutgers University with a PhD in 1963, spent ten years in chemical research, set up Xerox’s Product Safety and Toxicology program, was Director and Vice President of Food & Drug Research Laboratories, a contract toxicology laboratory and was Director of Life Sciences for Gulf South Research Institute, a cancer research center in Louisiana. He has numerous peer-reviewed publications, sits on several editorial boards, has held numerous appointments and consultancies including consultant to the National Cancer Institute and has lectured extensively on the issue of causation in the courtroom. His credentials are presented on the Consultox web site at consultox.com and he has provided expert testimony in both Toxicology and Chemistry in Local, State and Federal Courts across the country. He has frequently lectured on the elements involved in establishing causation in toxic tort cases.

Medical-Toxicology Team:
EW # 7894 has successfully formed and managed a team of experts to deal with complex litigation involving medico-toxicological issues. He has assembled a team of nurses, phlebotomists, and a diagnostic physician. Activities addressed include blood drawing and analyses for both clinical parameters and specific chemicals, physical examinations and special testing depending on the specific target organs. Medical records management and summarization can also be carried out and medical questionnaires and other forms are designed specifically for the project. This team is experienced in the assessment of complex environmental and occupational exposure situations.

Technical Management of Mass Tort Litigation:
Briefly, he first evaluates the merits of the case relative to causation and, if the case has merit, he will arrange for evaluation of the medical records with emphasis on issues related to target organ toxicity of the specific toxicant or toxicants in question. Specific expertise will be assembled as needed should environmental assessment or specific medical specialties be required. Medical questionnaires and evaluations will be considered. In essence, he will recommend a staged approach to evaluate the case in a financially responsible manner and will bring on outside expertise as needed. He will assemble a team of testifying experts that will support your case to its conclusion.
