Chief Credit Officer for First Interstate Bank- Career spanned all Western States including Alaska. Managed Retail Group-Correspondent Banking-Managed five mergers. Now serving as Lead Instructor for Western Banking Schools' Intermediate Commercial Lending School.

Professional Background:
My 34 year career with First Interstate Bank began after high school; started as a messenger and served in all areas of Branch Banking. In 1975 I was promoted to our Seattle Bank where I served as a Correspondent Banker in the Northwest with emphasis in Alaska.

During the 80's I managed numerous mergers for the Bank and operated a 35 branch region in NW Washington. I became very active in the community and served as Chairman of United Way, Chairman of the Economic Development Council and was elected Man of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce.

From 1989 to 1996, I served as Chief Credit Officer for the following First Interstate Banks:
