EW #11814 has extensive experience in property and casualty insurance and reinsurance underwriting, management, company startup, marketing, product research and development.
He is the founder and principal of an insurance and reinsurance consulting firm, which offers property and casualty insurance and reinsurance services, including arbitration, company startup and runoff, expert witness and litigation support, feasibility studies, product research and development, policy reviews and underwriting audits.
Prior to his consulting firm, he established a property insurance division of an insurer, where he was Senior Vice President.
He had a key role in the startup of a reinsurance company and has been its Chief Underwriting Officer. He was also Senior Vice President -Services, which included corporate marketing, claims operations and retrocession programs, Executive Vice President of the excess and surplus lines subsidiary of the reinsurance company and member of the board of directors of both companies.
He was previously Senior Vice President, Research and Special Risks of another reinsurance company, where he established reverse flow casualty, surety and fidelity bond operations and developed new products.
His insurance career began in the international operations of a major insurance company where he was underwriting inland marine business and during the second half of his tenure he was in the US domestic operations as Vice President -Special Risks, in charge of underwriting construction, utility, oil gas and petrochemical business.

Expert witness experience
EW #11814 has been retained expert witness on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants involving automobile, property, general liability, workers compensation, medical malpractice and professional errors and omission policies. He wrote opinions and/or provided testimony about water damage and mold claims, misrepresentation in applications for insurance, coverage issues, rescission of policies, insurance brokers errors and omissions and industry standards and practices.
