Twenty-eight years as president and principal consultant of my own firm providing advice & counsel to 58 banks and Wall Street firms in the design and implementation of telecommunications and computer technology supporting trading operations, credit/debit/ATM cards, S.W.I.F.T./C.H.I.P.S./BANKWIRE high security money transfer systems, new bank and broker offices and buildings. Managed 64 major financial technology projects; personally designed, selected and supervised the installation of $1.0B in computer, telecomm, special hardware and software during this period. Expert witness in Federal Court on fine points of computer and telecommunications engineering, systems design and specialized banking technology. Designed/developed/implemented original software for many financial applications. Inventor of "WITS" (Wireless Integrated Trading System) mobile wireless trading desk, "Q-MINDER" banking productivity measurement system; "TELEPORTAL" electronic office access system. COOPERS & LYBRAND 1980 - 1982
Practice Manager in C&L's nationwide management consulting practice, at that time largest of the "big six" public accounting firms. Design/evaluation of satellite links, feasibility of installing fiber optic network, operations analysis and improvement, P&L analysis of new systems, fraud investigations, bankruptcy valuation of failed brokerage house, etc. Personally designed and managed a major market research study for INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATION. THRIFT TRANSFER SERVICES CORPORATION 1976 - 1977
Executive director of a newly-formed electronics banking consortium of 22 NYC mutual savings banks to research & develop an Interbank switch and proprietary credit/debit card for ATM business in New York City. Reported to a board of 22 bank presidents. Designed switching software to link member bank mainframes. Successfully negotiated with top executives of American Express, Visa and MasterCard for representation on the national credit card authorization networks; developed the ThriftSaver credit/debit card.

CITIBANK/CITICORP 1971 - 1976
VP/Senior Credit/Debit Card Product Planner responsible for the development and national rollout of the laser-encoded electronic "Citicard" debit/credit card. Developed "Magic Middle" encoding process. Managed 240 high-ego employees based in New York, Massachusetts and California over an 18-month period that culminated in the on-time, one day distribution of 17 tons (1.1MM cards) of electronically-encoded "Citicards" to all CITIBANK checking accounts. P&L responsibility for CITIBANK's MasterCard business expansion across upstate New York including design/installation of a new network of hundreds of online banking terminals.

RCA CORPORATION 1963 - 1971
Engineered mountaintop telecommunications relay stations in Turkey, then promoted to European-area office in Germany to administer the development and deployment of military intelligence monitoring system spanning Iron Curtain from Norway to Turkey. Selected by RCA's Computer Systems Division to become headquarters bank industry analyst specializing in financial computer systems. Accelerated bank training program at Princeton and Rutgers Universities.

UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS 1959 - 1963
NCOIC of Marine air base electronics depts. in US and Far East. 18 months formal schooling in electronics, specializing in radar and ground-to-air communications.
