Operational weather forecasting experience (over 10,000 forecasts prepared).

Broad based experience with meteorological observations and data analysis, coastal weather, hurricanes, severe storms and lightning research, research aviation, air pollution meteorology, and remote sensing systems such as lightning detection networks, radar and satellite.

Twenty years experience in commercial television and radio weathercasting in major markets (Chicago, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Milwaukee) and the ABC Television Network; presently national media spokesperson for Honeywell, Inc. on indoor air quality issues; frequent public lecturer on weather and popular science topics, including lightning, tornadoes and severe weather.
