This expert is one of the most respected handwriting and document examiners in Texas. She has rendered opinions and testified for the Plaintiff as well as the Defense in both criminal and civil matters. She has also successfuly testified under the Daubert/Dupont guidelines as well as Singapore Judicial Court.
Included in her client list are several Fortune 500 Companies. Additionally, Sirchie Fingerprint Laboratories, Inc. has used her to do field research using their questioned document "Indented Writing, Erased Ink, and Developer" kits. The Sirchie Group consists of Sirchie Fingerprint Laboratories, Inc., Law Enforcement Associates, Inc., American Institute of Applied Science, Inc., Premier Crown Corp., Pro-Light Corp., and Search Productions. They are also considering the production of a protractor designed by this expert to be used in the document examination field.
She completed the Police Academy Basic Instructor Course through the North Central Texas Council of Governments. She holds a license from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education and is an instructor for continuing education credits for Texas law enforcement agencies, the Texas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in questioned document examination. In May, 1998, she was elected to serve as a Director on the Board of the Dallas/Ft Worth Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
She is also an Associate Member of the American Bar Association which is dedicated to the advancement of the administration of justice and service to the legal profession and the public. She is an Associate Member of the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts, Inc., which is dedicated to professionalism in law enforcement intelligence and analysis.
