| Nationally recognized expert on product safety and failure analysis. Licensed Professional Engineer.
- By invitation, along with General Counsel of EIA and Ralph Nader, testified in Washington , D.C. on product safety failure analysis before congressional committee. Also gave slide show on consumer product failure analysis.
- Directed fire and electrocution studies for the National Commission on Product Safety and has testified in public hearings.
- Retained by both plaintiff and defense on about 700 cases in 40 states regarding a variety of products.
- Retained for product safety litigation support by State and County agencies in California and elsewhere.
- Was in charge of failure analysis and failure analysis laboratories for divisions of Ford Motor Company, Northrop Corporation, Atlantic Research Corporation and Tracor, Inc. Also has had failure analysis program responsibilities in other companies such as TRW.
- Positions held in industry include those as: Design Engineer, Engineering Design Department; Design Engineer, Advanced Design Group; Engineering Section Head, Systems Assurance; Manager of Engineering Quality Control; Head of Reliability Assurance; Supervisor of Components and Standards; Chief of Components and Standards; and Director of Product Assurance.
- Graduated from Bronx H.S. of Science. Majored in E.E. at Carnegie Institute of Technology and received a B.S. from New York University .
| ELECTRICAL ACCIDENTS:
| Deaths, injuries and property damage involving electrical hocks, fires, electrocutions, explosions and thermal burns. Products include: power tools, switchboards, high tension and low tension lines, household wiring, chargers, welders, appliances, TVs, vehicles, hair dryers, stereos, electric blanket, throws and pads, toasters, coffee-makers, motors, switches, fuel dispensers, Christmas tree lights, lamps, ovens, washers, dryers, dishwashers, pool and spa lights, autos, RVs and marina apparatus in lakes.
| GAS FIRES/ EXPLOSIONS:
| Deaths, injuries and property damage involving combustible and non-combustible gases. Products include: Acetylene, Propane, Butane, and CO2 tanks; compressed air systems; kitchen stoves and ovens; wall heaters furnaces; barbecues; camping stoves; solvent cleaners; hot water boilers; paint sprayers; aerosol containers; refrigerators; etc.
| DOOR AND GATE ACCIDENTS:
| Manual overhead and power operated overhead garage, manual pedestrian and manual industrial swinging, automatic pedestrian and sliding, power operated overhead industrial plastic roll-up, automatic overhead commercial roll-up, power operated overhead barn sectional, power operated elevator, aircraft hangar power operated overhead bifold, manually operated overhead freight car, bathroom and dressing room entry and power assisted handicapped. Cases resulting in injuries and deaths include: manual and automatic cyclone and wrought iron gates, powered and mechanical, and vehicular and pedestrian.
| ELEVATOR/ ESCALATOR ACCIDENTS:
| Installations from two story hydraulic to fifty plus story traction electric in private and public buildings; escalators in malls, department stores and recreation and transportation facilities. Cases have involved misleveling, falls, abrupt stopping, and door problems. I maintain a library of applicable standards and reference materials including elevator litigation files.
| AIRBAG ACCIDENTS:
| Airbag malfunction cases resulting in death, chemical burns, heat burns, lacerations and traumatic injuries. (1) Unnecessary and unwanted deployment deployed at low speed with very minor damage to vehicle. (2) Failure to deploy when circumstances were appropriate obvious frontal impact resulting in personal injury or death.

| Machine safety; machine guarding and interlocks; hydraulic and mechanical presses; belt and screw conveyors; saws, lathes, dados and metal forming; washers, extractors, boilers, laminating, extruding and die forming machines; nail guns and power tools; hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical jacks and aerial lifts; ladders, etc.
