Short Biography:

EW #1458  M.D. , a board certified forensic psychiatrist, provides litigation support services to legal counsel, since completing a program at Boalt Hall, School of Law, University of California, Berkeley in 1972 on law and psychiatry. He has been a practicing forensic psychiatrist for 30 years. He is expert at performing personal injury evaluations, conversant with and current in all medical-legal issues, and the dispute resolution process. He has been an expert witness both at trial and deposition. In his career, in many jurisdictions nationwide (criminal, civil, and administrative), he has performed over:

-3,000 evaluations
-700 depositions
-150 trials

His associate and partner, is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist, and psychoanalyst with over 25 years experience. She is Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCSF (Clinical Faculty 22 years). She is a nationally recognized expert on childhood development, the psychology of women, and psychosocial aspects of daycare.

His litigation support services have been evenly divided between plaintiff and defense for 30 years. His forensic practice has constituted 50-75 percent of his entire practice. The balance has been devoted to patient care or teaching at University of California, San Francisco, as Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry (25 years) and Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery (15 years). He taught at Hastings Law School Post-Graduate Program on Trial and Appellate Advocacy for 11 years.
