Developed and directed the Commitment Process, within the Solution Integration Process, to manage annual work programs across 1700 system engineers and developers for 150 operating support systems that provided the signaling, trunking, provisioning, forecasting, maintenance, and disaster recovery for the AT&T Worldwide Intelligent Network, a $285Million+/yr work program within the Operations Technology Center of Network Computing Services.

Central Business Operations Manager - Bell Lab's Computing Technology Center
Set the strategic direction for a US$280 million annual acquisition portfolio, international computer services directorate by assessing corporate needs and emerging technologies, then translating to effective transition program. Research included hardware technologies, object-orientation, modeling tools, repository, and data warehousing.
Developed Lease vs. Buy price performance models that were 5 years ahead of the then current Total Cost of Ownership models. Efforts yielded 30% increased capacity while reducing bottom line costs 30% annually.
Entered into a joint development effort with Hitachi Data Systems on 7390-U product. Through microcode change 150% capacity was gained, while maintaining strong residual value.
Directed efforts leading to developing the first group in the world to run UNIX on IBM 3090 five years before IBM ever successfully ran AIX on platform.
