Marketing and advertising professional. Worked within an advertising agency (svp, vp, account supervisor, senior account executive and account executive), and as a client (vp marketing and communications, vp marketing, director of marketing, marketing officer), with several advertising agencies, media buying services, design companies and other marketing firms reporting to me.
I have been a member of the Advertising Club of Los Angeles since 1975. An active Board of Director since '83. The club's membership groups are media, clients, production, creative and agency executives.
Teaching graduate and undergraduate students marketing, advertising, promotion, communications and media at the University of Southern California, California State University, Northridge, Pepperdine University, and Loyola Marymount University. These classes were in the Schools of Business, Journalism and/or Annenberg School For Communication.
I have taught in the graduate and undergraduate programs at the University of Southern California (Annenberg School For Communication and Marshall School of Business). The classes were COMM 541 Integrated Media and Communication Strategies, COMM 542 Business Strategies for Entertainment and Communication Companies, JOUR 340 Introduction to Advertising, COMM 599 Global Communications. Also in 2005, the final "capstone" Strategies class 659 plus 660 at Pepperdine. I've taught in the undergraduate program at California State University, Northridge. The classes were MKT (Marketing) 304 Marketing Management and MKT 440 Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC).
