EW #10474 has been involved in legionella outbreak investigations, litigations, remediation programs, risk assessments and risk management for waterborne pathogens.
He has had articles published on the topic in national and international technical journals. He coauthored a book on the subject of controlling pathogens during healthcare facility construction. He is a member of the ASHRAE Guideline 12 committee, "Minimizing the Risk of Legionellosis Associated with Building Water Systems" and is a cowriter of the JCAHO Waterborne Pathogen Regulatory Advisory.
He is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY where he recieved his B.S. in Marine Engineering and a U.S.C.G. Marine Engineering license. He has over 10 years experience in facility design, operation and maintenance management positions and over 15 years experience in water system consulting.
