Provided expert report for a law firm, was deposed and testified before a jury in Federal Court in a dispute involving the acceptability of custom software developed for a large multi-line insurance agency by a vendor. Provided expert report for an arbitration hearing for an organization utilizing an applications service provider (ASP) for all its computer processing. A programming error caused the organization to unnecessarily spend several million dollars. Represented the claimant (arbitration).

Served as both a sole Arbitrator and as part of three-person panels on many cases since 1990. Cases have included disputes over: computer services / software development, software packaging and distribution, software sales / distribution agreements, payment for services rendered by a professional services firm and an e-commerce firm, etc.
Arbitration panels served on have ranged in length of hearings from one to more than twenty days.
Acted as the sole arbitrator on a case involving a dispute between a reseller of a product with computer software components and the product’s developer.
Selected as an arbitrator on six cases in 2003. Cases included: payment for a software package, payment for services used to create a website and non-performance of software.
Have taken a number of arbitration courses, including a 2-day Advanced Arbitration course in February, 2002 and at least one additional course each year since then.
