Certified Shorthand Reporters are able to type sworn testimony verbatim at 225+ words per minute using computer-aided transcription. Depositions take place in the courts or in deposition settings. i.e. the doctor's office, airport conference rooms, business conference rooms, etc.

An accurate transcript in booklet form is then produced to the hiring attorney and other attorneys present who order copies.

The price is determined per page plus an attendance fee. Travel mileage is also included if the reporter has to travel over 50 miles from the office. The price varies from general reporting to highly technical testimony from expert witnesses.

Turn around time is approximately 10 business days but a product can be expedited at additional cost.

Payment arrangements need to be made in advance of the deposition and deposits are requested.

The condensed transcript and ASCII are free when ordering the original and one transcript or a copy at the deposition. Howeer, if no copy is ordered but a condensed transcript of ASCII is, the cost is the same as if ordering a copy of the transcript.
