Experience: Twenty-six years of experience with emphasis in the sales, engineering, design, and implementation of facility automation systems and networks. Work Experience:
ESS Engineering 1/95 to 4/03: Project Manager responsibilities included; conceptual design, engineering, specification writing, construction/contract management of large-scale automation projects. Responsibilities also included detailed system commissioning, owners advocate design review, and HVAC equipment and systems monitoring and validation for energy savings projects. Specifically: designed, engineered, and managed construction of the GSA web-enabled GEMnet project which networked eleven government facility automation systems through a common platform within a multi-state region; Designed, engineered, and managed construction of Maricopa County Community College Districts multi-campus automation systems, as well as conceptually designed the next phase of the county-wide automation network; Designed, specified, and construction/contract managed the installation of state-of-the-art automation systems within two of Motorolas facilities within the Phoenix area. Provided expert witness, and commissioning guidelines and oversight services for a large school districts multi-million dollar enterprise automation system project; Provided automation system analysis, and developed designs, engineering, specifications, and construction management for retrofit and new construction projects, and provided design review services for automation system projects, nation wide; Provided monitoring and validation services for a wide variety of investment-grade energy retrofit projects.
