2003-present. Serving as industry leader for ROS Incorporated, providing expertise in the principles and trends of outsourcing. Developed the Outsourcing Lifecycle Architecture Methodology, a structured process integrated directly to ISO/CMM quality standards, guiding organizations in defining outsourcing requirements, evaluating and selecting vendors, and structuring outsource contracts and partnerships. Designer and instructor of the first University based accredited Strategic Outsourcing Certificate Program and Corporate Outsourcing Bootcamps offered through Illinois Institute of Technology. Designer and instructor of first on-demand CD based outsourcing educational series Strategic Outsourcing Framework. This CD based outsourcing educational series has been sold in 15 countries around the globe. Co-authored book The Outsourcing Process Handbook, How to Implement a Successful Outsourcing Process and to be released in January 2006 with Kogan Page, a renowned UK publisher of professional, academic, and personal success books.

1999-2003. Established sourcing and outsourcing policies for Rockwell International, delivering substantially reduced cycle times and costs, improved quality and customer satisfaction. Established and managed the companys first Offshore Development Center in India for full software lifecycle development of complex IT Call Center applications. Enabled rapid development and deployment of customer contact solutions for the global marketplace, while saving over $5 million in first 24 months. Led on-time on-budget implementation of Oracle 11i CRM/ERP Application Suite across 26 modules, delivering $3 million annualized operational costs savings.

1995-1999. Laid the foundation for a truly progressive sourcing approach for Rockwell International and led cultural transition to new supply management system, leveraging the expertise and efficiencies of third party vendors. Reshaped current methodologies, creating continuous supply chain improvements, improving spending coverage, reducing costs for goods and services, and facilitating release of next generation Call Center products. Moved supply operation from Israel to Northern Ireland, building new strategic supplier network, including industrial design, product development, contracting manufacturing and tooling that resulted in $3 million annual cost savings.

1989-1995. Served as member of Corporate Procurement Council for Rockwell International, developing disciplined reporting and control methodologies that delivered significant cost savings, process efficiency and best practices. Implemented and managed multiple strategic alliance channels and third party solutions that reduced R&D spending by $5 million. Drove migration of business units manufacturing operations to highly efficient centralized manufacturing infrastructure in Mexico, including integration of complex external technologies into overall Call Center applications solutions. Championed strategic alliance partnerships with Intel, Oracle, Digital Equipment, Motorola, IBM and Arrow Electronics, with special attention to change management and operational alignment.

Developed a complete suite of outsourcing products and services that enable client organizations to maximize their return on outsourcing investments utilizing best-in-class outsourcing processes and methodologies. Developed in-depth lifecycle consultancy offerings, including Outsourcing Organization Readiness Assessment, Vendor Evaluation and Selection, Program Management Office, Wellness Assessment and Vendor Transition.

Rockwell International, Wood Dale, Illinois 1989 to 2003
First Point Contact Division, industry leader of mission-critical customer contact center solutions.

Senior Director, Product Development and Business Technologies (1999-2003). Highly visible executive role, directing, managing and leading 170-person, global Strategic Sourcing, Product Development, Program Management Office (PMO) and Information Technology organizations with $20 million R&D and IT budget. Drove the development and support of contact applications and infrastructure solutions organization that delivered $100 million in annual revenue for the business unit. Reported directly to President.

Director, Product Development and Strategic Sourcing (1995-1999). Provided leadership to 200-person cross-functional team responsible for procurement of $250 million of products and services. Directed the execution, project management and support of the business units product portfolio application suite that generated $400 million in annual revenues. Managed $30 million budget. Focus on developing a solid network of global suppliers through strategic alliances to support price, quality and capacity.
