1995 - 1998 National Institute of Forensic Studies - Staff Instructor Occupant Kinematics and Safety Belt Restraint Systems Advanced Traffic Collision Reconstruction Bio-Mechanics of Traffic Collision Injuries

1973 - 1995 Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department (Retired). Member of the Traffic Services Detail. Responsible for 24-hour call-out to fatal and serious injury collisions. Instructor at the Sheriffs Training Academy for both Recruit and Advanced Officer Training in all areas of Traffic Investigation and Enforcement. Field officer for 10+ years, investigated and / or reviewed in excess of 8000 traffic collisions; issued in excess of 12,000 traffic citations; arrested in excess of 800 Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and / or Drugs violators.

LOW SPEED COLLISION TESTING

∙ Have personally conducted 48 low speed collisions (ranging from 3 to 8 miles per hour) with human volunteers, no reported injuries.
However, unless tested individuals fall within the narrow category set by the tests, there is a potential for injury
