This expert has taught students of medicine, nursing, dentistry, public health and optometry over a nearly 35-year period.

He received his Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology in 1969 from Oregon State University, his M.P.H. degree in Environmental Health in 1994 from Loma Linda University, and his B.S. degree in Chemistry and Biology from Pacific Union College in 1965. He currently teaches at Loma Linda University and at the Southern California College of Optometry.

He has conducted research in the areas of lead poisoning, insecticide metabolism and the effects of nicotine on fetal rabbits.
 
He is listed in Who’s Who in the West and Who’s Who in American Nursing Education.

He has provided consultation and/or expert testimony in cases involving such issues as drug
abuse, drug overdoses, exposure to industrial poisons, alcohol-related crime, etc. He has an avid
interest in medical quackery, and is a member of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Board.
