Board certified in North Carolina and Virginia with fourteen years experience in a busy private practice affiliated with an academic center. Served as an assistant clinical professor at Brody School of Medicine/East Carolina University for fourteen years. Extensive experience with case review for several malpractice insurers, including deposition experience, combining a "real world" outlook with academic background... Recently physically disabled from private practice, now with plenty of cognitive energy and time to devote to medicolegal interests accompanied by strong communication skills. Medical School and Residency- Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University 1981-1989. Fellow of the American College of OB/Gyn 1991 with continuous voluntary recertification. Interests include cerebral palsy, birth injury, surgical complications, laparoscopy, preventive medicine and all general obstetrics and gynecology.
