In 1983, EW #2114 attended UC Los Angeles and completed his BS degree with honors in Microbiology. He then went on to receive his Medical Degree from UC San Diego, receiving multiple honors remarks in his cardiology and intensive care rotations.
He then completed his Internal Medicine Specialty at VA Wadsworth- UCLA program, where he received, "Best Intern of the Year Award." He then, completed his cardiology training at Kaiser Foundation-USC program, where he received "Fellow of the Year Award for Outstanding Teacher."
While in training, heauthored and self-published several reference books for medical students, residents, nurses, physicians assistants, as well as other doctors. The books well very well received and were distributed throughout United States, Canada and Britain.
Most recently, hehas been awarded the title: Fellow, American College of Cardiology.
